I'm with you there, Bubs. My choice for worst of the year. You know, when I was a columnist, if I had gone to the newsside and said I wanted to write about, oh, Syria, they'd have laughed at me or told to get the fuck out depending on how the day was going. But when any newsside columnist wants to bloviate about sports, that's just fine. The results are almost always hilariously bad.

It's little more than a list of stuff that liberals would most be offended by. Not that I'm offended by some of it; I am. But it's a liberal list.

He's good for a few "I am a complete ass" columns per year.

The one about Sean Payton's Union history. The stuff he writes about Kevin Wilson. Throw in his smirking mug, and I think it's appropriate to think at least one of his would be among the worst of the year.

An oversight on my part. Replace Krikorian with Albom.

And Nate Silver was biased against Romney.

Thomas Friedman received the hat trick. Richard Cohen was mentioned twice and Bill Keller and Nicholas Kristoff once.

The dictionary is your friend, people.

"Pug" is short for pugilist; a fighter.

What is short for terrible columnist?

The dictionary's first definition is, "one of a breed of small, short-haired dogs having a tightly curled tail, a deeply wrinkled face, and a smooth coat that is black or silver and fawn with black markings."

Also, Allentown is in the United States of America.

Our pug's face does not have wrinkles; it has character.

Well, I'll cut you some slack for not being old enough to remember when "pug" was commonly used the way it was there. ;)

Are you arguing that it's not? Look again.
