    PRINCETON UNIVERSITY ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

    Position Summary
    -Write and edit news releases, game notes and feature articles.
    -Prepare editorial, layout and design for media/recruiting guides, game
    programs, and special event publications.
    -Serve as primary media contact for several teams including women's
    basketball, women's lacrosse, and several others.
    -Maintain and update records and statistics.
    -Maintain and update the University's official athletics' web site
    -Other duties as assigned

    Essential Qualifications
    -3-5 years experience in sports information or a related field
    -Baccalaureate degree
    -Undergraduate experience in sports information and/or sports writing
    -Writing, editing and design skills
    -Knowledge of desktop publishing; experience with PhotoShop, In-Design and
    Statcrew software
    -Computer literacy
    -Excellent oral and written communication skills
    -Commitment to travel and work on evenings and weekends
