    Here are the reported penalties:

    • One-year suspension for general manager Jeff Luhnow.
    • One-year suspension for manager A.J. Hinch.
    • The loss of first- and second-round draft picks in both 2020 and 2021.
    • A $5 million fine.
    • The placement of former Astros assistant GM Brandon Taubman on baseball's ineligible list.
Ha, Taubman go now do card shows with Pete fucking Rose.

Looks like Ken/The Athletic had it first.

Alex Cora and the Red Sox getting up out of the on-deck circle.

I was expecting multiple years of pick losses - but man. Sends a message.

Maybe Hinch can ask Sean Payton how to spend a sabbatical year.

Is there any franchise around that wouldn't trade that for a World Series win? If MLB really wanted to deliver a message, it would vacate the title for that year.

I'm not sure what would have to occur for that to happen. Maybe the entire roster tests positive for PEDs? Maybe not even then?

This is about as harsh a penalty I can imagine MLB giving an organization. This is more severe than the ones given to Atlanta and St. Louis, no?

This has become the greatest single day in Houston sports talk radio history. Will never be topped, either.
