Another plus: You'll get to work for a real SID instead of one that spent the 1990s being a radio star.

  2. I'm just giving dargan a hard time. :) I have plenty of family up there.

I just don't like Arkansas fans.

Does anyone like Arkansas fans? ;)

However, it is the SEC. Scoreboard.

Western Arkansas is a beautiful place. Eastern Arkansas, near the river, is the shitty spot.

  5. Here's actually the line ...
Draw a line from Texarkana northeast through Jonesboro up to the state border. Stay on the northwest end of that line, and you're in good shape, although there are a few bumps to avoid on the northwest side.

Not his fault no one else could handle the color analyst duties. Good broadcaster. Good SID. Great person.

Word is that lots and lots of sportswriter have put in for this.
Not many with SID experience and it may not matter.
Petrino has reportedly put in a preference for one of his old Louisville hands.
    Or so the story goes.

Damn. Can I have the head-coach PR job? I'll happily spend 40 hours a week telling reporters to fuck off. :D

There are a few places east of (and straddling) that line that aren't bad, namely Monticello, Sheridan and Marion.

I'd have said Lonoke, except for the trailer park cougars there that could blackmail me at the drop of a Manolo.

Especially if you're an outdoorsman, and particularly if you love fishing, duck hunting and canoeing. Arkansas is a sportsman's paradise.
