The Norwich Bulletin is seeking a leader for our Sports Copy Desk who can take our editing, headlines and designs to the next level. Share your vision of presenting sports in a new and dynamic way, incorporating multimedia and non-traditional storytelling, and capturing the personalities and news off the field as well as on it. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience on a copy desk, know Quark inside and out, be able to juggle several pages and other duties a night, and keep our web site fresh and updated. High schools and local sports are our bread and butter, but we also have UConn in our backyard. Send your cover letter, resume and work samples to Executive Editor Jim Konrad at jkonrad@norwichbulletin.com (PDFs are encouraged). EOE, M/F

I have seen a great improvement in this paper over the last year or two.

The money won't be great, but I think it's a better job than it has been in the past.
