    Two finalists spent time on 1HP sports desk. Heard there was a third finalist. Don't know who won.

    This hire is complete. The selection is Randy Brickley, who has been senior sports online producer for azcentral.com, the Arizona Republic's website, since 2006 and has more than 20 years at the paper overall.

    Congrats to Randy. I was pulling for another finalist from nearby (former co-worker), but I'm sure Randy will do quite well there.
