Assistant Editor opening, The Record (Conrad, Ia)

The Record, located in Conrad, Ia. (60 miles from Des Moines, 45 miles from Waterloo and 50 from Ames), has an immediate opening for an assistant editor who can cover sports and local news, write features and columns (including sports related), take photographs and assist in layout utilizing Adobe InDesign. Like I said, this is an immediate opening and the right person could start tomorrow. We're an award-winning, weekly paper with a small staff so your opinions and ideas will definitely be heard, plus we're going to redesign the paper and want the right person here to help us in this endeavor.
