Take P_O up on his offer in your sig.

And good luck. Especially with the next two weeks. Awk-ward.

Trouble is, P_O is into women. So no blow for F_T.

I know. The publisher (the 91-year-old husband in the husband and wife publisher-CEO team) won't even look at me these days.

I'm still going to put out the best damn paper I can in the two weeks I have left.

Then take it to the bathroom and clog the toilets with it.

That would only be mezzanine-decking them, wouldn't it?

One of the many concerns people have when they're unemployed is how to handle health insurance.

When you're a cancer survivor, it gets worse.

I applied for Assurant Health's short-term medical insurance today in an effort to have something to tide me over until my next job. However, I got denied because I'd had a cancer tumor two years ago.

    Damn it. This sucks.

I was told once about COBRA... don't sign the letter refusing coverage. If you have a major medical problem, you can always "catch up" on payments and they have to grant it. If you don't have a need, then you aren't out the cash.

This could be all be BS... but worth checking.

Damn. I know the feeling F_T. I got lucky and landed on my feet within a couple of weeks when it happened to me. Hopefully, the same will happen for you. Any freelance opportunities out there?

I send the deepest regrets and warmest regards of our little household.

Be sure to go online and Google health insurance plans, especially short-term plans, specific to your state. Every state differs, and you might catch a break and find some sort of policy that has to cover you by law, even with a pre-existing condition. Worth a try.

    Good luck.
