    Boom, I politely disagree ... no more than "smarter" means she was smart in the first place ... If I assert that my dog is smarter than a fencepost (a close call, in fact), I am not necessarily sayin' the fencepost is smart, am I?
    Now, if I asserted that my dog has better journalistic ethics than Mike Florio, that wouldn't be a close call, but it would probably be better said on another thread.
