Are you interested in directing coverage of the biggest story in the NFL?

The Las Vegas Review-Journal seeks a team-oriented Assistant Sports Editor to lead its group of reporters as they cover the Raiders’ move to Southern Nevada.

The ideal candidate knows digital journalism and has at least three years of experience running coverage of the NFL. This journalist will work in tandem with our lead Raiders writer, Raiders backup reporter, pro backup writer, columnists and our Raiders videographer.

We expect this person to be collaborative in working with this group to create stories in all forms and bring original ideas to all platforms.

We want our team to explain the news as well as break the news.

Please email your resume and a cover letter of your vision to bbradley@reviewjournal.com

We have a winner: Bill Eichenberger, formerly of Bleacher Report, Newsday and the Wall Street Journal.

Two really good hires with this one and the NFL reporter position.

We have made a hire: Myles Simmons of the Rams' website. He will be joining us in two weeks.
