About a half mile down the road from my house in a wooded area is a home where the owner decorates for every holiday, not just Christmas and Halloween. So for Thanksgiving he puts up cardboard turkeys, Pilgrims, etc. About five years ago, driving past this exhibit I saw the cardboard turkey surrounded by live turkeys. Funniest damn thing ever. Alas, did not have phone with me for pix.
I like to imagine the live turkeys saying "Nice guy. Kind of quiet though."

Pool owners are used to dealing with unwelcome visitors, from algae to ducks. Sharks are rarely an issue. But a live five-foot blacktip shark was found last week in the pool of the Mariner's Cay condominium in Hypoluxo, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Wildlife officers removed the shark from the pool and released it into the Intracoastal Waterway.
