Plus, there's the novelty of an obese drug addict. Quite rare.

I'm not one to say you can never joke like this, there's certainly a purpose for comedy that makes people uncomfortable or have to think about things, but Lang and Gilbert Gottfried and the rest have to realize that Twitter is the absolute worst place for it.

It's so hard to be sure you're putting off the correct tone and certainly is going to go beyond your intended audience. I know comics like to use Twitter to try out material, but it's not the right place for every joke you come up with.
