    I see your point, Smasher, but do you think Rubinstein is going to say anything Steinbrenner doesn't want him to? There's nothing conclusive here.

    I was expecting something more emphatic from the guy who's his personal publicist. Publicists lie on behalf of their clients. Tom McEwen puts up a more spirited denial than someone who's being paid to handle George's PR.

    If Rubinstein can't manage more than "He's OK," I conclude that George is batty as a Louisville Slugger factory.
