    1. College Football – 139 Arrests/Charges/Citations

    Like SI's big expose on this, there's no context.

    Is the arrest rate for athletes any different than the arrest rate for the general population of men at these ages? I think that some calculated the SI college football numbers and discovered it was actually less.

    But, hey, whatever gives people a foundation to assert their moral superiority ...

    Also, they don't take into account the number in terms of a percentage of athletes. Kinda silly to compare college football, in which each of 120+ teams has 100 or so players, to major league baseball, with 30 teams of 25 to 40-man rosters.
