Does anyone else get the feeling that the Chapman story is not going to have a happy ending? He's pitching like the best reliever in baseball right now, but, man, has he had a strange couple of weeks.

Note to self: Don't invite Aroldis Chapman and this lady's husband to the same cocktail party.

Probably not what you're thinking of. I was referring to a successful MLB career for a guy who was barely able to defect from his home country.

“You need to be smart. You need to know who is in your posse if you have one,” Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said.

I now can't get the notion of Clint Hurdle being a real-life L.T. Smash managing the Party Posse out of my head.

You know, a really good question is why The Associated Freakin' Press doesn't have anything on this yet.
