    Gwatney is dead.
    Dude who did the shooting was an employee at one of Gwatney's dealerships who was fired.
    He got into a shootout with the cops after being pursued and was shot. He may did not survive after being airlifted to another hospital.

    This was not a hate crime. This was not an act of random violence. This has nothing to do with politics.

    Gwatney was a good dude. A little glib from being rich and powerful his whole life, but that made him really good for a quote. I interviewed him just a couple of weeks ago.
    This is not a good day.
    I have some reporting to do.

    I understood that.

    Jay said it was a "random act" so I was asking for clarification, since the shooter allegedly has a history with the Gwatney family.
