Don't know if this has been posted or not, but the ADG in Little Rock has an opening for a sports reporter who will also work on the sports desk. I can vouch that both Krup and Goff are great guys.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette sports department in Little Rock has a full-time opening for a sports reporter who can do much more than cover games. Requisite writing and reporting skills are a must, but any applicant should be an able and willing contributor to the desk operation, with pagination (InDesign) experience an added plus.
Knowledge of sports is important, but the willingness to accept assignments in a wide range of activities is most important. You might not be a runner, but you will be expected to cover the Little Rock Marathon, with enthusiasm, if asked. You might not be a golfer, but you will be expected to spearhead our coverage of next year's Western Amateur and other state golf events, with enthusiasm, if asked.
A can-do attitude is necessary in all facets of this job,, from desk work to reporting.
If you are interested, send a cover letter, resume and clips to Deputy Sports Editor Jeff Krupsaw, (jkrupsaw@arkansasonline.com) and Assistant Sports Editor Steve Goff (sgoff@arkansasonline.com).

Hey Chip, who was the reporter that left and why? Just wondering since I used to work in Pine Bluff.

That "with enthusiasm" part raises eyebrows.

Sweep the floors, with enthusiasm. Take out the trash, with enthusiasm. Answer dimwits' calls, with enthusiasm.
