Ark. Ballot Initiative: Only Straight Married Couples Can Be Foster Parents

    my god. i did not know such places really did exist. note to self: watch your mouth when you travel in the bible belt. they might just try to wash it out with soap.

    So, what happens if a rich single person decided to become a foster parent? Do they get punished because they're not married?

    I think there is a good reason for this. Think of all the stories in the news about the screwed up kids who had gay parents.

    Why there is .... and, um .... well it seems I recall ....

    Well, it's just gotta be wrong, right?

    A recent poll of Arkies shows 55 percent oppose this act.

    Seems people are realizing that not only would it keep them there gays from adopting, but the way it's written it would also keep grandma from adopting her grandchildren if anything happened to the parents and grandpa was dead or divorced.
