Many, many people are at their happiest when they can draw an arbitrary line, pick sides and yell across it. It's just human nature.

Why are you unable to respond? Ignorance deserves to be called out.

  4. Because embarrassing a mouth-breather who's full of alcohol and courage is a surefire way to get yourself sucker-punched.

    Ain't worth it.

That's why you pick your spots. You don't call EVERYONE out, but yeah, sometimes, it's necessary. Stupid people suck.

Just no scenario in which it's worth it.

So you just don't go to games as a fan because of that?

Not as many as I might otherwise. Same reason I don't listen to sports talk radio. Makes me grind my teeth down to nubs. It's like a doctor being forced to sit in a stadium filled with people talking about what they read on Web MD.

Bingo. Haven't listened to more than two cumulative hours of sports talk radio in my life. Just stupid; no redeeming value to me. And I hate it when people yell about shit they don't know about.

But see, I don't have that problem in the stands -- that's where it's nice to be deaf. If people say stupid shit, I can't hear them. ;D
