    She's not behind the times. She doesn't watch TV so there is no need for cable. As for the phone, she enjoyed having a rotary one.

    I do. About eight years ago, the local cable cabal pissed me off and I dropped their service out of spite. Then, after a few weeks with only over-the-air and all the books I'd been meaning to read... I realized that I didn't really need cable. I'm perfectly happy with just the networks (especially the local PBS that heavily features BBC shows).

    I do when there is a storm, the problem is with digital TV the picture gets messed up the whole thing cuts out. With antenna, I could watch and see if a tornado was going to smote me off the world.
    After February, I just have to go outside and stare.
