Are you of Davidic descent?

My mother's maiden name is on there, so I guess I'm now royalty.

My last name is included in a few of the last names on there.

Part of my mom's maiden name is on there. I've also been told I'm related to Yitzhak Rabin. Well, was.

Yeah, part of my last name is on there, too. Does the extra add-on disqualify me?

Here is a list of "spot the jew" last names. I know it says it is a partial list, but how did the manage to leave off Goldstein?

Goldstein is German in origin, not Davidic.

Goldman is "davidic" according to that list, "Rubenstein and Bernstein" are "davidic" according to that list," but you are telling me that Goldstein is not? I'll take your word for it. I never even heard the word davidic until today.

German or not, you'd be hard pressed to too many Goldsteins who aren't Jewish, at least ancestrywise.

All I did was google the surname. Maybe the other -steins are the same. I'm not Jewish but I suppose there are surnames that are associated with the tribe that aren't directly derived from the House of David. Maybe Goldstein does belong. *shrug*
