Are you good-looking?

A throwaway statement about ugly people having sex on another thread got me curious.

Looking at myself, I'd say I'm a solid 6. My lack of height, graying goatee, clown feet and a generally underwhelming face keep me from being any higher. 8)

 

This thread is useless without photos...really.

 

Extremely, but my personality cancels it out.

 

My theory on people grading themselves. If they are really good looking but modest, they say 8. If they are good looking and arrogant, they say 9 or 10. If they are ugly and honest, they say 4 or 5. If they are ugly and delusional, they say 6. ;D Nobody ever says they're a 3. If they are truly average, they say 7.

 

I'm a male Kate Upton: about 30 pounds overweight with a plain face.

 

But my personality puts me a lot higher.

 

Who would you rather be, a psycho cab driver or the lead singer of Creed? That's a serious toss-up.

 

Somehow I rated a 9.4 on hotornot.com. I think they have some sort of algorithm that results in weighted scores. Either that, or they score on a 1,000-point scale now. 0.094 sounds about right, yeah.

On the one hand I'm fat and ugly. On the other hand, my personality is fat and ugly.

 

Not at the rate I'm gaining weight and losing hair, no.
