Too PC and not from the heart... can you soften it up a little bit?

Good work, slap. Always helps to have a second read on these things.

"I can relate to your problem" is something HR says after a layoff... Needs the sentiment, but needs to be a little cuddly...

Too short. Needs to be at least seven words to fill the hole. Management hates house ads or filler sentences.

I have to have my iPod the same way. Not a healthy way to spend my time. I'll even go a step (further or farther), and make sure I have the proper album cover with the appropriate album. If it doesn't show up in iTunes, I'll actually hit up the Googles and find it. Help me.

Poorly constructed, I know. I'm out of practice.

When I get a mass e-mail from a friend that states:

"I have a free ticket to Fenway Park for the Red Sox-Orioles game. Is there anybody here that wants to go?"

And my response is not yes or no, but:

"Ed, it's 'Is there anybody here who wants to go?'"

Then yes, you can say the AP Stylebook won't be leaving my head any time soon.

And Corky still has no idea why no one ever takes him to a Red Sox game! :D
