Are Vegas cops treading too lightly with OJ?

A former homicide detectives on Hannity and Colmes said if there is a videotaped statement given by a victim that he has been robbed, it's probable cause to arrest a suspect. That's what the Vegas cops have with OJ.

A former DA said since items have been recovered, it's even more probable cause.

So why is OJ being named a suspect, but has not been arrested?

Another homicide cop on the show said the Vegas police are going to tread lightly, because he's OJ.

Just as I was saying on another thread that has now been locked: the rules seem to be different for former Heisman Trophy winners.

Still not allowed to pull guns in a public place to get it back.

Public place or not, I'm pretty sure pulling a gun on someone in their home or hotel room is a crime. Even in Nevada.

No doubt it's a crime but obviously, there isn't enough proof for an arrest.

Apparently according to the LVPD. To my knowledge no arrest has been made. That's all I'm going on.

Apparently the people at SportsJournalists.com care. There have been three threads on The Juice.
