Are journalists useful?

That sounds like something I'd say.

Heck, you're probably on each other's log-ins right now.

    1. TV: Crucial and obvious.
    2. Computer: Step 1 to posting on SportsJournalists.com.
    3. Water heater: 10 years without a shower could go wrong quickly.
    5. Modem: Step 2 to posting on SportsJournalists.com, plus it nullifies the need for video games, movies and porn.
    10. Books: It's fundamental. And No. 30 reportedly loves to read. Yes, I know that from research.
    14. Fridge: I would only get beverages.
    18. Pizza: See No. 22.
    19. Food of your choice: Not choosing this seems insane when compared to the other food choices.
    22. Marijuana: Cause it's Friday, you ain't got no job, and you ain't got shit to do.
    30. Sasha Grey: Eventually, you will hate any human you choose. Might as well make it someone who hate-fucks professionally. (OK, OK. I respect her retirement. "Used to hate-fuck professionally.")

Scores of deer dying each year? So the island is in the south?

    Here's one:

You're trapped overnight in a college basketball media room with three SportsJournalists.com members you don't know well. You have the things left in the media room: A fridge stocked with drinks, plentiful bags of chips and a few leftover sandwiches from the buffet, plus your laptops, notepads, pens, recorders and the wireless key. Your phones won't work because college basketball arenas were built without consideration for the digital age.

You also have a pick axe, a welding torch, nipple clamps, scissors and MisterCreosote's sheep suit.

    Which members do you choose?

Me knowing Petty prevents me from picking Petty and A_QB.

In fact, I probably know too many people to have a good answer for that one.

OK, let's change the parameters slightly. Someone you don't know well.
