The worst shooting spree in U.S. history occured today, April 16, in Virginia.

This week we will also mark the anniversary of Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing, and Columbine. April also has seen the assassinations of Lincoln and MLK, Chernobyl, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, and the 1992 LA riots, among other events.

I thought about this earlier today. I wonder if any of the networks will interview sociologists about it. It does strike you, doesn't it?

  6. What about the crucifixion of Christ? Doesn't Passover usually fall in April?
