What's up with the Panthers Sam? Didn't two of Jerry's kids leave the organization? Are they on the block?

No. The Richardsons have been VERY tight-lipped about this one. The Charlotte Observer didn't have much luck. All we know is that they're gone. Connecting the dots, it seems as if Jerry Richardson has recovered completely from his heart transplant and had both his sons hit the road.

They were polar opposites in personalities and the way in which they went about their business ... no word if their clashes were stinking up the joint or what. Neither were intricately involved in day-to-day activities. In other words, the players didn't see them or interact with them on a consistent basis if the stories are to be believed.

Hence, why coach John Fox and general manager Marty Hurney are very likely gone if the Panthers don't reverse their fortunes in a serious hurry. Dumping the sons - or their resignations, take your pick on the interpretation - made it pretty clear that Jerry Richardson isn't going to show much more patience.

The team is not for sale ... the Richardsons put too much blood, sweat and money into the venture to bail now (a book chronicling the first year of the Panthers on the field and how the franchise came to be by Joe Menzer and Bob Condor should reinforce this). Strangely enough, though, if something happens to Jerry, the kids will inherit the team.

Oh, come on! Are you seriously posting this thinking the Panthers are putting ads for head honchos on Craigslits. Who wears #17?? JAKE DELHOMME! How many people on offense?? 11!!
