The Coaches' Shill Network, Dick Vitale, Prop.

  3. Vitale's actually been tolerable on this one. It's Lavin.

    Understood.

Still, Dick's the professor emeritus at Disneyworld on the general topic of CBB coaches doing no wrong, ever.

Yeah. I kept wondering how Lavin was getting anything said when his mouth was so full of Sampson's balls.

This may be a bit conspiritorial, but here goes: Does ESPN try to defend Sampson and save his job because they got whipped yesterday by FoxSports.com on him being fired?

    Just a thought.

Consaidering Sampson still hasn't been fired, was the FoxSports report accurate?

If he coaches tomorrow, no. If he doesn't coach tomorrow, I'd say yes.

did fox report samspon will be fired or that he won't coach the rest of this season? the original headline was -- sources: sampson fired. don'r remember what the story orginally said because it's been re-written and updated several times since.

if sampson is suspended indefinitely and not fired until later, does that make the report accuarate regardless if he coaches tomorrow? it's starting to look like sampson won't be fired -- just yet.

i'm also not sure espn got whipped yesterday. that call can't be made right now.
