Auburn's simply gotten lost on its way to Atlanta.
Lost in the maze of trickery, revenge games, high-level coaching and pure, all-around high-performance that is the Southeastern Conference.
The SEC - a place where Tennessee might beat Arkansas and if they don't, Mississippi State can do it next week.
It's a conference where Tennessee and Florida and LSU and most of the others are all even.
    Any given Saturday, guys.
    Auburn's done today.
    No coming back.
But they'll be back in time to make a stand at the Iron Bowl.
And so will Alabama, at team that just might cover the 18 today against LSU.
The SEC is tough, tough, tough, guys.

One year soon, I keep thinking, we're gonna see all 12 SEC teams invited to bowl games.
And all 12 make the NCAA basketball and baseball tourney fields.
    One day soon.
I just know it's gonna happen.

    Get it straight:

Georgia beats Auburn = top of SEC is overrated
Rutgers beats Louisville = Big East is underrated (until basketball season, when they're overrated go MVC!)

Auburn-Texas would make a great Cotton Bowl.

I'm not so sure about that. I would rather see Boise State play Texas, if it wins the Big 12. See if the Broncs can back it up.
