AP32 NFL rankings ... what's the point?

    I like the rankings, "mostly harmless," as they arrive in predictable fashion and help me with a little midweek NFL thingy that I like to run during the season. I'd like to see the same thing for baseball, frankly.

    But I'm one of many who voiced complaints about the rankings being edited into all the NFL stories. Glad to see the negative reaction registered in New York.
     
  4. Bubbs, you are easily one of my favorite posters on here and I have as much of a distaste for rankings and polls as anyone out there, but you are off the map on this one.
    Readers love rankings. Period. No matter from whom, no matter about what. It churns my stomach, but they eat that shit up.
