AP style questions

I'd like to ask a few AP style questions not covered in the stylebook.

    1. Would we include "No." or "number" after words such as "invoice," "contract," "case " "patent," etc.?

    Examples:
I reviewed Invoice No. 65478-12. (Cap "Invoice when used with "No."?)
    or
    I reviewed invoice number 65478-12.

I reviewed invoice Nos. 65478 and 98723. (Lowercase "invoice" when the plural "Nos." is used?
    or
    I reviewed invoice numbers 65478 and 98723.

Same logic with the other words -- case, patent, etc.?

    Thank you.

You've made three posts, all asking style questions, so I'll save you some trouble:

    http://www.apstylebook.com/?do=view_recent_ask, and ask the experts.

Or tweet at @APStylebook ... you'll get answers pretty quickly.
