My first response was "It doesn't matter what my opinion is, etc." and I didn't pay any attention to who the poster was.

I have never understood the crepe craze. Seems like pretentious people just want to eat something else French.

Crepes are diet pancakes or hipster pancakes, depending on the eater.

Pan cakes with whippedcream are just too sweet for my taste.

Does Mandarich still have the NCAA mark for pancake blocks?

No, crepes are a nice balance for those who enjoy a good pancake but the thinkness and richness of a fluffy, hot buttermilk pancake topped with a nice film of butter soaking up warm maple syrup prevents us from getting past two. Crepes are thin slices of that pillow soft breakfast cake that we can devour a stack of and feel like we accomplished something. Plus you can add sweat cream and strawberries.
Alright enough of this, I'm off to 24-hour Denny's

So, then, we agree: Crepes are for dieters and hipsters.

I can eat about 27 buttermilk pancakes. I especially like a solid film of butter and maple syrup, be it real or fake. I haven't tried sweat cream on them, but I do like sweet cream with my strawberry pancakes.
