I'm glad to know they're looking. I'm saddened to not know how to apply.

I'm wondering how many people would take the time to dig for contact info on a job opening if they just had a name. From some posts on this board, finding an e-mail address seems to be too difficult for a reporter.

That's not saying too much. But I have to agree.

If you have a name there isn't really an excuse. Sometimes however there are circumstances. If it lists an address but no email does that mean they want a mailed packet, or that someone didn't copy the whole listing? Sure you can email the editor, but they are often busy and at times don't respond for whatever reason. On this board there are many smart people who often know the answer to a lot of basic job search questions. A good journalist uses all resources available and this is a good one.

In many cases, however, google or the news outlet's website should provide the most basic answers.
