    Beaker, Cranberry, which signing got the ball rolling? I'm guessing Ray Allen but I could be completely off base.

    Tate George burying that shot against Clemson in the NCAAs was a turning point, as was the NIT title. He had some other good players in the early '90s, including Scotty Burrell.

    (He's a helluva coach, even if he's a cheating bastard. Don't forget the job he did at Northeastern, too.)

    There's more good than bad with Calhoun and I give him all the credit in the world for turning Storrs into a destination.
