Anyone who has ever sent a typo to print, put on Comedy Central right now.

You'll feel better when you see the lower left hand corner.

UPDATE SINCE IT'S NOW OFF: They were airing an old Ralphie May special while having a caption in the lower left corner promoting his new special, "Too Big to Ingnore."

It's off the screen. For those who missed it -- probably almost everyone -- it said "Ralphie May: Too Big To Ingnore."

I don't think it's that bad, but it probably should have been corrected at some point, if possible.

It's not that bad, but also consider it sat there for the entire hour special. It also seems like errors like this are becoming more common on TV.

At least it didn't say "Nignore."

Of course mistakes like that will happen. Cheaper labor means cheaper results.

Heck, it was probably an intern's fault...and they don't get paid jack shit!

I used to hear that a typo on a major network graphic was a firing offense, no questions asked. Either 1) Comedy Central isn't major enough, or 2) standards have slipped.

I expected the typo to be funny.

"Ralphie May: Too pandering to be funny"

    Who said nobody was fired?

At one of my old papers somebody put a hed on a standalone MMA photo that said "Down for the Count".

Except they forgot there was an "o" in "count". It made print. I still have a copy.

[IMG] sees no problem with that.

Hopefully typos on local newscasts I watch aren't firing offenses.
