Anyone Ever Been To A Rochester Red Wings Game?

I'm a baseball junkie. And more of a "stadium junkie." I love going to different parks. Anyway, I'll be near, but not in, Rochester soon. Is it worth the trip by my lonesome? Decent park? Should I go? Anyone been? Hell, anyone near there and want to hit up a game?

Frontier Field is a nice ballpark. Lots of parking, easy to get to.

I've never been to a game in person. The last time I watched Red Wings games, it was the late 1980s when they were a Baltimore Orioles affiliate.

Back then, they played at Silver Stadium. Obviously, the experience would have been vastly different there.

If Francisco Liriano is pitching, make it happen.

The answer is, "Yes, about 39 people have."

Saw them back when they played the Jacksonville Suns, Columbus Jets, Syracuse Cheifs, Atlanta Crackers and the Havana Sugar Kings. My first pro baseball memory, actually, is seeing the Sugar Kings play the Jets in the season the Sugar Kings just didn't go back to Havan and played out of Jersey City, I think.

I have. Decent little park. Somewhat clean, easy to get to, lots of on-site parking.

Nothing especially remarkable about the park itself, but I do believe it's under 10 years old.

Go for it. You'll enjoy it.
