Anyone do any caving?

    Take a backpack. Wear hiking boots. Preferably waterproof. Pack the sandals. I mean, there might be an underground lake suitable for swimming down there. If you're going to the back country to do this, a pair of snake-proof gaiters would probably be a solid purchase, too.

    I fully expect to be wading through the river that created the cave. That's why hiking boots didn't sound like a great idea. Seems to be the overwhelming recommendation, though.
