Anyone around here from New Jersey?

So, this is a bit of a weird question.

A group of friends and I are headed to Edison, New Jersey in November for the annual Exxxotica expo. For those of you who don't know, that's the second-biggest adult entertainment expo in the country.

I figured that, since I'm going out there anyway, I'd contact some of the local newspapers out there and see if they were looking for someone to cover/shoot it as a way for me to expand my clips/maybe make a little cash.

Anyone here from New Jersey? If so, what newspaper(s) would you recommend contacting about this?

I already emailed the news editor from the Sentinel (A paper based in Edison) and she said she's not interested because the subject matter would lead to a lot of negative complaints from readers but I figured I may as well ask. Worst they can do is say 'no thanks'.

Tell them of all the readers you'd bring in. That'd be the money shot.

Heck, tell them you'd even be willing to do a little fluff piece.

Maybe contact the New York Times.

Edison's pretty close to Newark, so maybe the Star Ledger. I imagine many small papers would avoid this subject matter.

Tell them you're not afraid to plow through all the work. And digging deep is your specialty.

"Ted Mosby" might have a place for you to stay.

I think the Home News Tribune is the closest daily. And Patch is pretty active in Jersey.

Too bad Gannett killed its Mommy Blog, that could have been the perfect place.

Courtesy titles with a story like that would be awesome.
