Anybody know when the first batch of Yahoo! Sports contracts are up?

    I'm interested to know.

    According to the link I've attached, Yahoo will be having more layoffs. I know most of the sports writers who signed up are under contract, but it'll be interesting to see if those contracts are renewed/extended once they are up.

    As we've seen with the work of Wetzel and Co., an online world where ESPN is the only site practicing professional "journalism" can't be viewed as a positive from the standpoint of either industry or craft.
