Anybody at the Senior Bowl?

I still didn't go... despite what people told m this week.

 

Dunno, but I guess he's a little past deadline now, huh?

 

There's a writer at his last stop, who 12 months after would be considered early

 

With it being in Alabama, do the in-state papers still attend?

 

from what i understand, senior bowl week is a great time to have access to virtually everyone in the nfl. that aid, many, many, MANY of the top reporters covering the nfl for a very long time have never been there and never will.

heck, some have never been at the scouting combine, either. i've attended many of the latter but never a senior bowl and i've been covering the league for 26 years now.

as with most event, it never hurts to be there. to be seen and shmooze. but is it a requirement to excel? heck, no.
