Any new Asheville, N.C. advice?

    My wife and I had our honeymoon at the Grove Park Inn ... very nice porch/balcony/deck setup for a late-afternoon cocktail. And the golf course is a Donald Ross design (although not all that famous).

    Stepped out of the hotel and went just a few steps to The Blackbird for a light dinner after a long day on the road.

    My wife had a divine vegetable plate with house-pickled veggies and more.
    A half-dozen (Chesapeake) oysters on half shell or me. Gulf oysters are better, of course.

    Many more adventures await.

    Lunch stop at Wicked Weed - divine cheese board, wonderful beers.
