So wait, the person who wants to type wrong "on purpose just to piss all of you off" is asking us to grow up?

    See the hypocrisy?

Agree on Little Miss Sunshine. Very good movie. Steve Carrell was excellent playing against type, and the twist is so excellent. It does a great job of laying out the creepiness of the youth pageants.

Too many bad films. I'd get disillusioned.

I went a (free!) screening of "Stranger Than Fiction" on Wednesday night. It was not at all what I expected, but I liked it a lot. It was a sweet movie. Based on the trailer, I was expecting laugh out loud funny, typical Will Ferrell, but it was pretty far from that. I definitely recommend it.

"The Queen" was fabulous -- Helen Mirren is a shoo-in for an Oscar nomination. "The Last King of Scotland" was good, but Forrest Whitaker was GREAT as Idi Amin. I did not like "The Departed." I enumerated my reasons on the thread about it.

I'm seeing "The Prestige" tomorrow and very much looking forward to it.

Consider this another recommendation for both "The Prestige" and "Little Miss Sunshine".
