Any GAA fans?

I've been a fan of the GAA (Gaelic football and hurling) for several years and been watching it more this year since there are two free matches a week through my Roku. I was wondering if there are other fans out there and anyone involved in the New York GAA. As I live close enough, I would like to get my kids involved in Gaelic football.

Yes, but here in flyover country fans are few and far between.

I'll have to check my Roku -- had no idea there were Gaelic Football games broadcast there.

My grandfather was instrumental in the early days of a team in Northern Ireland, and now has a stadium there named after him. Went to a game in Derry (I believe) many, many years ago when my great-uncle was some sort of team or league official. I had no idea what were were going to see, so it was quite strange to find myself in a large, packed stadium watching a sport I'd never seen before, and sitting on a bench along the sidelines.

    Anyway, yeah, great sport.

Football and hurling are a proud tradition in SEC country.
Not the same thing you're talking about, though.

I'm more of a fan of hurling. Found out a distant relative is heavily involved with the GAA.

I would love to go to an all-Ireland final. They bang out Croke Park, 90,000 strong, for football, and I think hurling is a sellout, too.
