Five others were long imprisoned for 1991 killing. Today, the alleged actual killer will be charged.

Sex offender charged in 1991 rape, murder that led to Dixmoor 5 case

This is the case where State's Attorney Anita Alvarez speculated to "60 Minutes" that the DNA evidence exonerating the five men could have gotten there because the convicted sex offender happened to find her hidden corpse and had sex with it. Some days you're just lucky, I guess. It is worth looking up on YouTube.

Alvarez triggered an outcry when, during an interview for the TV program "60 Minutes," she left open the possibility that necrophilia had been involved. Randolph, she suggested, could have happened on the crime scene after the skating and had sex with Cateresa's body.
