I got 88. Got bogged down in the morass of REO Speedwagon and similar bands, then old-age dumped some gimmes like Human League and The Fixx.

    100 with 6:08 to spare.

It took me a while to figure out who sang "Ain't Nobody".

Oh, and the fact that Mr Roboto made this list made me physically wretch.

In fact, it shouldn't make any song list other than Top 10 Most Ill Conceived, Worst Pieces Feces of Musical Crapola Ever Foisted Upon the American Public.

And Top 10 is being charitable.

Yeah, I was shocked by some of the stuff I saw on that list.

Edit: And ashamed I knew most of the artists.

    81. Only one I'm truly pissed about is Loverboy. Thought of every other similar band (Journey, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner) but couldn't pull them out of my ass.

I got 85 but had to look up how to spell Aerosmith (kept transposing the r and o) and Salt n Pepa. Can't believe I forgot Men at Work and completely blanked on Gary Numan's name. There were a few others I could sing, but couldn't remember who sang them.

88 - Public Enemy was the one name I couldn't remember. The rest were either eurotrash bands or songs I didn't know.

Maybe it should have been in the bad song tournament [/crossthread]

Clearly had the resume to participate. And could have gone deep, no doubt.

An oversight on the nominating committee's part.
