People who live there will be allowed to drive, Zeke..it's people entering the City who will be charged.
Of course, most people who live there don't drive anyway

Pick a fight elsewhere. Tourists drive into Manahattan every day. I know if you live in the area, you don't sit by the tunnel or the bridges and count the tags.
Give it a rest man. It's too early in the day for you and your nit picking.

What I'm saying is, tourists don't drive to Manhattan.

I mean, I'm sure some do, and they are plainly crazy, but most people who visit arrive by plane.

Are you sitting at JFK, Newark or LaGuardia asking people are they tourists?
Look give it a break already. Damn, it's too early in the afternoon for this stupid shit. It really is.

I noticed more regular cars in the city -- non-cabs, in other words -- on my recent trip than I'd ever seen before. Of course, most of them were in the $40,000-plus range.

As Spinited can probably attest, no one drives in NYC unless they have to.

I think it's fair to say most tourists fly to NYC, since most tourists don't live within driving distance and if they do, they have better options than driving.

    They certainly wouldn't want to...

And you might want to add train to fly...just my thought

  11. this was great when i lived in London--i took the bus to work everyday and we zipped through central london (more or less) because of the reduced traffic. this will be fantastic if/when it happens here...

Um, OK. I'll remember those things.

Have a happy commemoration of the first crusade day.
