Sapp responded by emailing Marshall with a challenge to fight:

Is this interesting to us? To fans?

A lot of fans would eat it up.

I am with Marshall. And if Sapp is throwing the word "retard" around, he needs to pay a price in the workplace for that.

Sapp has already served one 30-day suspension at the network. How many chances does he get?

He's just not a good guy. He's occasionally insightful and even charming, but also has a mean streak a mile wide.

Looks like Marshall has made Sapp look like a complete fool, not that it's that difficult a task

As someone who he all but called a racist because I live and work as a sportswriter in Oklahoma, I couldn't agree more.

I'm not sure "dick" is severe enough for Sapp. If you believe this article (http://www.sptimes.com/2003/08/23/Tampabay/Seeking_shares_of_Sap.shtml), which seems pretty well-sourced, he tried to send an imposter to take a court-ordered paternity test in an attempt to avoid responsibility for one of his kids. I've always been surprised that story didn't get more traction.

I would watch NFL Gameday, but I find him so grating that I just can't. And I can put up with Shannon Sharpe.

yeah, Marshall easily got the better of that exchange.

So people the choice is easy,

do you want to listen to the intelligent guy who reminds you of the facts?

or the liar/defrauder who can only throw out a derogatory term and can do nothing more than say "let's fight!"?
