    If you are a hyperlocal paper and too short-staffed to hit the county commision meeting, exactly what the hell can you cover?

    Readers might not think it's a big deal until this guy leaves out the part of the meeting where the vote was taken to raise garbage collection fees or discussion arose about a house being condemned for a city project.

    When management makes a conscience choice not to provide adequate staff or those with little to no formal journalism training and believes that content is a secondary function to advertising dollars, then it's time to put the rag out of its misery.
