Another name change: U-T San Diego

    Um, one of the schools was founded in 1794. And it wasn't the one part of Mexico at the time.

    Yep, because those edicts and changing the name of the paper will really sell more papers.

    Did some Gannett executive get hired in San Diego?

    OMG! There might be government officials walking through! We'd better dress up! We have to impress those guys.

    I can only assume there'll be a friendly reminder soon about how it's important to keep desks neat and tidy.

    They're also changing the cafeteria to a "bistro." Which sounds like code for taking out junk food.

    There is a San Diego, Texas. It's a little 2A town in South Texas between Corpus and Laredo. Not big enough for a college, though.

    A "bistro" sounds like it will only be open 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Which will be very helpful to the journalists working in the building.
