    Newt didn't just 'go away.'

He resigned and got out of the public eye. But he's been very much involved in politics ever since he departed the national spotlight.

Edwards will do the same, just like Dick Morris.

Man fell from grace and Jesus forgives us for our sins. Heck, he even died for them.

This country would do well to remember that.

Of course, Edwards is a scumbag for hitting and quitting an ugly cougar.

Newt also tried to have a president impeached for lying about having an affair under oath. While he, himself was having an affair and pretending to his constituents that he was holier than thou.

Can we talk about Henry Cisneros now? I liked where Boom was heading.

Hardly the point. You tried to make Edwards a paradigm for Democratic evil because he slept around on a cancer victim. I point out Gingrich did the same thing, and you change the subject.

When did Larry Craig and David Vitter resign? Oh, they didn't?!?!?

  10. Somebody help me on the timeline but I think Gingrich was out of Congress long before he admitted his affair.

And John McCain messed around on his first wife because she was disfigured in a car wreck...Is this really something the Republicans want to make into a political issue, especially given, you know, the guy they're putting up for president?

Those of you calling for Edwards to resign, how would he do that? It's not like he currently holds a political position.
